Teaching/learning aids

  Teaching aids: is all tools, instruments, materials, equipment, and devices that used in and out side classrooms to improve the teaching and learning process  for example, Books, Motion and still pictures. It is very important to develop higher order thinking and problem solving and improve student motivation, attitude, and interest in learning. It is useful to enable students to visualise or experience something that is impractical to see or do in real life. Teaching aid should be directly supports the curriculum objectives and provides opportunities for student collaboration. Cone of Experience utility in selecting instructional resources and activities is as practical today as when Dale created it. The cone is based on the relationships of various instructional experiences to reality (real life).The bottom level of the cone, "direct purposeful experiences," represents reality or the closest things to real, everyday life. Each level of the cone above its base moves a learner a step further away from real- life experiences.

In my opinion it is useful lecture because it give us the importance of using teaching aid in teaching and must be support the curriculum.

Introduction to computer

Computer is an electronic device, operating under the control of instructions stored in its memory, that can accept data, process the data according to specified rules, produce results, and store the results for future use.  It has two component hardware and software .

Hardware is the electronic and mechanical equipment that makes up the computer and has four components which is input devices, output devices, storage devices, Storage Devices and System Unit.  

Software is a series of instructions that tells the hardware how to perform tasks. It has two components System Software and application Software. System software consists of the programs that control or maintain the operations of the computer and its devices.   It includes starting up the computer and opening, executing, and running application.

Operating System is type of system software. It is a set of programs containing instructions that coordinate all of the activities among computer hardware resources. Utility program is a type of system software that allows a user to perform maintenance-type tasks.
In my opinion it is give more details about computer but it is not useful because it not give us new information.  .

حذر خبراء في أمن المعلومات من أن نوعاً من رسائل البريد الإلكتروني تحتوي على دعوات للاتصال بموقع معروف لإرسال البطاقات البريدية، والتي تقوم لدى فتحها بإنزال برنامج خبيث لفيروس “حصان طروادة”.

أكد اخصائيون في مجال الصحة الأنجابية في جامعة لو يولا الاميركية في ولاية شيكاغو ان الاستخدام الكثيف لكمبيوتر المحمول "لاب توب" قد يهدد الصحة الانجابية للذكور ويحرمهم من ان يكونوا آباء في المستقبل وذلك بعد ان قاموا بضمة الى قائمة العوامل الضارة على الصحة الانجابية وضعف الخصوبة او العقم عند الذكور.

ملاحظات مهمة:

1- اذا كان لديك اي معلومات مهمة على جهازك و تخشى فقدانها فعليك دائما عمل نسخة من هذه

المعلومات او البيانات على اسطوانة .
2- اذا كان لديك اي معلومات سرية او صور عائلية مثلا ولا تريد اي شخص اخر ان يطلع عليها فالافضل دائما ان تضع هذه الملفات في ملف مضغوط و وضع باسورد للملف المضغوط و ان تحتوي الباسورد على ارقام و حروف و ان تكون طويلة لان بعض البرامج تقوم بفك الباسورد الخاصة بهذه الملفات و في تم اختراق جهازك و سحب هذه الملفات من جهازك فلن يستطيع اي شخص الاطلاع على ملفاتك او صورك العائلية .
3- من المعروف انه عندما يتم اختراق اي جهاز و في حالة وجود كميرا مشبوكة على الجهاز فان المخترق يستطيع اخذ صور عن طريق الكميرا حتى بدون ان تكون مفتوحة و يكفي فقط ان تكون مشبوكة في الجهاز لاخذ صور عن طريقها و لذلك دائما احرص على عدم شبك الكميرا في حالة عدم استخدامها     .
